From Alabama to Wyoming, Here’s What A.I. Thinks Barbie & Ken Dolls From All 50 States Would Look Like

Moving in alphabetical order, let’s start in the American South with Alabama. Here, Barbie and Ken went for different approaches. This Ken looks pretty comfortable in a fun, patterned top, open save for the bottom few buttons.

On the other hand, this Barbie looks like she’s spent a while to get her hair perfectly coiffed and her dress hails back to southern fashion that could work now or a couple of decades ago.

If Barbie and Ken are going to live in Alaska, it’s pretty crucial that they’re ready to take on the bitterly cold weather that Alaskans are ready for. They both look pretty warm and ready here!

Plus, what’s Barbie known for better than her many accessories and cast of animals and friends? So, the A.I. was sure to add a few dogs that could keep the couple good company.

On the other hand, if you were going to live in Arizona, you might want to change out of your warm coats and into something a little more suited for desert life.

Barbie really encapsulates her usual mix of glamor and practicality donning a Stetson and a pink button-down with a big belt buckle. Ken goes for Arizona fashion in his own way and still looks great and ready for the weather.

Fittingly for Arkansas, this Barbie looks iconic enough to be a star in a Johnny Cash music video or show everyone else up with her famous biscuits.

From the look Ken has going on, we can guess that this pair is ready to spend their weekends enjoying the nature the state has to offer. We can’t see for sure, but it looks like Ken might already have a bag of supplies ready for their next adventure.

California Barbie and Ken are here to enjoy everything the state has to offer, from indulging in fashion to hitting the beaches to soak up some sun.

Here, Ken dons another bright and fun button-down but he doesn’t bother with the buttons – it’s hot in California, after all. As for Barbie, she looks like she was inspired by some early 2000s fashion with a tube top that’s, of course, pink.

Colorado has a lot to offer, especially when it comes to outdoor activities. This Barbie and Ken look like they’re ready to take on everything the state has to offer them.

This Barbie is clearly ready to hit the slopes in her pink winterwear. As for Ken, it looks like he’s going for a less snowy hike in one of the state’s national parks. Either way, they both look ready to explore!

For this one, we’re moving out of Colorado and towards the northeastern states with Connecticut. As usual, Barbie and Ken look like a picture-perfect couple.

This time, Barbie is rocking brown hair, rather than her usual blonde locks, which gives her a warm appearance. As for Ken, this time he comes with accessories. As a matter of fact, it looks like he’s on his way to class with such a big backpack!

Staying in the same general area, we have Barbie and Ken hailing from Delaware this time. Once again, they both look pretty fashionable.

Ken must be ready for the winter, given his layers on layers. On the other hand, Barbie seems to be dressed for the warmer months. It looks like the A.I. gave this Barbie her own doll on the table behind her too.

Unlike Delaware, there are some places in the United States where you might be able to depend on nice weather all year round. If you’re a fan of the heat, you might head to Florida, along with Barbie and Ken.

In true Florida fashion, these two made sure to include plenty of palm leaves in their heat-friendly clothes, and the two even sport a few accessories to spice their outfits up even more.

Now, we’re back in the American South with a Barbie and Ken couple from Georgia. Maybe they know the two from their neighboring state, Alabama, that we looked at earlier.

As for Ken, he opts for a sleek black jacket that’s pulled together with fashionable jewelry. As for Barbie, this time her accessories rely more on layers. However, her cow print shirt is a nice touch with her neutral pants and jacket.

If you want to talk about states with a deep, rich history, you can’t look past Hawaii. Plus, the tropical islands are a popular tourist destination.

This Barbie and Ken are decked out in leis and flowers. As usual, Ken’s look here is a bit understated while Barbie took her outfit all the way and made her beach look something akin to what you might see on a runway.

As opposed to Hawaii, Idaho isn’t as popular as a tourist state. Still, the rural lifestyle that people often associate with the state is just what some people are looking for.

This Ken looks ready to jump into the ranching lifestyle! Barbie doesn’t look too against it either. While she may not have the whole outfit like Ken, she looks at home in nature in this simple outfit.

Illinois is a state that has a lot of variety. In some parts, you find yourself in rural areas. On the other hand, it’s also the home state of large cities like Chicago. It seems like Barbie is more at home in the city since it looks like she rocked this monochromatic pink outfit on the subway.

Ken looks ready to tackle the city too, but he’s ready to walk a few blocks with the city in the background. Of course, he has gloves to protect his hands from the chill of the Windy City.

If you want to go somewhere a bit more rural after Illinois, the good news is that it isn’t far from Indiana at all. That’s where this A.I. Barbie and Ken live.

The name of the game here seems to be flannel, although Barbie goes ahead and adds a set of suspenders on top of that. It looks like Ken was ready to accessorize with a few different belts and bands, while Barbie is rocking perfect curls that most of us can only envy.

The A.I. tool seems to have very conflicting views of Iowa when it comes to Barbie and Ken. Barbie looks like she’s stuck in the late ‘90s/early 2000s, so apparently A.I. thinks Iowa is frozen in time.

As for Ken, he’s dressed perfectly for farm life. We also can’t help but notice that his arms are set pretty far apart from his torso. Talk about broad shoulders! Regardless, this cute couple looks ready to rock the state of Iowa!

While Toto and Dorothy might not be in Kansas anymore, that’s where this A.I. Barbie and Ken feel right at home. They went for two different patterned looks that both fit the Sunflower State.

As a matter of fact, Barbie’s yellow floral dress here reminds us a bit of sunflowers! As for Ken, he looks ready to dive into the gorgeous nature that Kansas has to offer and maybe even start a farm of his own!

When it comes to horseracing, bluegrass music, or simply some good old Southern cuisine, you won’t want to miss out on visiting Kentucky.

This Barbie and Ken hail from there, and are donning a couple of pretty different outfits. Here, Ken has some modern fashion going with a bright button-down while Barbie looks like a career woman that would fit right into the cast of 9 to 5.

When you think of Louisiana, you likely think of New Orleans and all the Cajun cuisine that you can eat as you explore the state. This Barbie and Ken look ready to take on the French Quarter!

Coming from Louisiana, you can’t go much further north than Maine – at least not without leaving the United States. So, if you’re going to live there, you’re going to need to bundle up a bit more.

That’s why this Barbie and Ken duo is a bit more bundled up than the last pair that the A.I. presented to us. We can perfectly picture this Ken hanging out at a lighthouse or hiking while Barbie looks ready to take in a crisp fall day.

If you’re feeling like taking in a Ravens football game or enjoying some great crab, then you’ll have to head on over to Maryland. While you’re there, you can stop by and meet Barbie and Ken!

We have to say, they both look like they’re ready to hit the town! Apparently, the Ken that lives in Maryland has some very intense neck muscles, according to this A.I.

There’s a lot of history to take in when you’re in Massachusetts. While Barbie and Ken might not play a huge part in it, they can experience it, thanks to this A.I. creation.

This pair looks ready to take on the more fashionable side of Massachusetts in their patented pink outfits, closely corresponding with one another. Ken even gets a pair of glasses to accessorize with this time.

There’s a lot to take in while you’re in Michigan. There’s a little bit of something for everyone, from Detroit to Mackinac Island.

This state is where A.I. dreamed up these two dolls hail from. We can see how they’d both fit in there well, but we do notice that this Barbie and Ken duo aren’t afraid to rock their own aesthetics rather than preferring to match.

Barbie and Ken are ready to hit up the Mall of America, thanks to this A.I. answer to what would the duo look like if they were from Minnesota.

They both look ready to take on the cold weather in the state with each of their own turtlenecks, of course, with Barbie’s in her signature pink. On top of that, she’s accessorizing with a rather practical – but fashionable – jacket.

This is one A.I. answer to the question about Barbie and Ken from each state in which both of them pulled out all of the stops to look glamorous. Barbie is ready with hair that Dolly Parton could only dream of.

Plus, this patterned, pink two-piece is fashionable, to say the least. As for Ken, his colorful pants and patterned shirt are just as eye-catching, but it’s really his accessories and frosted tips that stand out the most.

Barbie’s dyed her hair red for her move to Missouri – and we absolutely love it! Does anyone else think she looks like Ariel from The Little Mermaid? As for Ken, he didn’t feel the need to switch up his hair color, but he did change his style of clothes.

If there’s one state that might be even more known for its desert landscape than Nevada, it’s New Mexico. These two A.I. creations went down the same route for both of these dolls.

With big belt buckles and wide-brimmed hats, these two are ready for life in New Mexico! Barbie even has a patterned shirt to spice things up, while Ken goes for a more traditional look.

The city that never sleeps would have ample room for Barbie to try out a variety of her famously varied careers. New York Barbie and Ken – and New York itself – are home to a lot of high fashion.

The A.I. rightfully guessed that Barbie and Ken would take full advantage of the fashion at their fingertips! Barbie still opted for a pink purse, of course.

If the hustle and bustle of New York City would keep you awake all night, you might want to move somewhere more rural. There are plenty of options in North Carolina.

These two opt for a more comfortable – but still chic – set of outfits to feel at home in North Carolina. It looks like the A.I. even gave Ken a little pink patch on his shirt!

We absolutely love North Dakota Barbie’s all-pink ensemble and adorably fluffy hat. She looks perfectly ready to rock that colder weather in style! As for Ken, although he looks great, he seems quite different from his usual self.

In fact, North Dakota Ken looks more suited for a pirate movie rather than Greta Gerwig’s Barbie film. Maybe this isn’t really Ken at all, but his twin from Pirates of the Caribbean?

While not necessarily a Southern or Midwestern state, Ohio still offers a lot of rural land. Still, you can enjoy more populous areas in cities like Cleveland.

Barbie went back to a more traditional look with these florals and pink. Ken also opted for a pink shirt, but we can’t help but notice that the A.I. apparently assumed Ohio Ken is quite a frequent gym-goer.

On the topic of Midwestern states, there are few states quite as literally Middle America as Oklahoma.

This Barbie and Ken, put together by A.I., look like they’d be right at home in the state that makes a lot of people think of ranches and cowboys. They even coordinate well with one another – like a matching set – right down to their belts!

It seems that Barbie and Ken used their move to Oregon as an opportunity to redefine their style. Rather than their signature pink, Barbie is rocking some purple while Ken opted for red.

Of course, neither color is too far off from pink – and these dolls still look great – but it’s definitely something new. Maybe they’re trying to fit in and live normal lives in Oregon, rather than be recognized as the iconic doll duo they are.

Philadelphia, Pittsburg, Hershey Park, the Liberty Bell – Pennsylvania has no shortage of things it’s known for. After all, there’s quite a bit of history there!

Just because a state is small doesn’t mean you should count it out! There’s still plenty to see, do, and enjoy in America’s smallest state, Rhode Island!

Whether they want to spend some time at a coffee shop, walk along the state’s prominent shoreline, or just explore a state park, this A.I. pair will look fashionable as they do it in their matching pale pink outfits.

We already talked about North Carolina, so how could we skip out on its neighbor, South Carolina?

Maybe these two are ready to head to class at Clemson, try some Southern comfort food and sweet tea in Charleston, or just enjoy the warm weather. Either way, this A.I. made sure they were doing it in their usual, fashionable – and pink- manner!

Maybe the heat of the South isn’t for you. While the name might be deceiving, South Dakota is pretty far north.

As such, it makes sense that the A.I. might have thought Ken and Barbie would want to be a bit more bundled up. Although, Barbie looks like she’s a little later in the winter than when Ken’s photo was taken.

There are some states that need little introduction. Any country music fan will tell you just what Tennessee is famous for… These two look ready to take on Nashville!

Ken’s already got his cowboy hat on and a fun shirt to match for the hoedown. As for Barbie, she’s got hair that Dolly Parton would be proud of, and is ready to join Ken!

Everything is bigger in Texas, right? Well, that’s what they say, at least. Both of these A.I. dolls are rocking some massive belt buckles to fit that saying.

In fact, it looks like the A.I. may have given Barbie a pair of belts to wear! Of course, if other states are going to use Stetson’s to accessorize, of course, both the Texas Barbie and Ken would need some.

When it comes to Utah, you probably think of a lot of nature thanks to the Great Salt Lake and countless open spaces.

The A.I. made it seem like Ken and Barbie were ready to take on all of that with these outdoorsy outfits. We have to say, Barbie’s monochromatic pink look suits her aesthetic and the locale. Ken looks ready for an outdoor adventure too!

While you might want to dress a little cooler in Utah, the same doesn’t apply to a state as far north as Vermont. That’s why the fashion we see here is a bit warmer.

Decked out in scarves, hats, gloves, and turtlenecks, this artificial intelligence creation made sure that Barbie and Ken were ready for winter in New England – even if Ken had strayed from the pink theme.

Virginia offers a lot, depending on where you are. Richmond and Northern Virginia are two places you can live if you want life close to a major city or if you want to be able to stop by the suburbs.

Still, it’s in the South, so you can expect plenty of farmland. Head out a little further west, and you’ll be in the mountains. This Barbie and Ken look more ready for the city, though, with a couple of fashionable looks.

There’s a lot to see in Washington and it’s perfect if you like a cooler, rainier climate. Plus, any Twilight fan might be drawn to Forks, Washington –  which is a real place.

It looks like the A.I. may have taken a little inspiration from the Cullen family with two dolls that look a bit like Rosalie and a high-fashion Carlisle. Then again, maybe it’s just a coincidence, but A.I. is known for borrowing from pop culture.

Once part of Virginia, West Virginia, long ago split off to carve its own path. Still, how could we look at one state without looking at the other?

This Ken and Barbie both look fashionable, but Ken really wins on the accessories this time with a scarf and necklace combo. Barbie still looks stylish in her floral print and flared jeans, though.

If you like cheese or are just a football fan with a love for the Green Bay Packers, you won’t want to pass up a trip to Wisconsin.

There’s a lot that this midwestern state has to offer, and these two dolls look ready to try it all out! Instead of coordinating, each one brought their own style to the table, with Ken taking on that signature pink this time.

Wyoming Barbie is giving off some serious girl-next-door vibes while Wyoming Ken looks like he should be on the cover of a romance novel. Maybe girl-next-door meets cover model will be the plot of the next Barbie movie?
